Prepare this oven-baked pork rump with honey and butter sauce for a family lunch or dinner, or to guarantee lunches for the whole week, the recipe pays off especially if you make sliced ​​pork rump in the oven. Try it and you'll definitely like it!

Ingredients for baking pork rump:

2 pieces of pork rump

 2 lemons

 garlic powder

 pepperoni pepper

 chimichurri

 salt

 70 grams of butter

 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce

 ½ cup of honey (150 grams)

 1 small sachet of mayonnaise

 1 teaspoon of dehydrated rosemary

How to make pork rump in the oven:

Clean and season the meat with garlic, pepperoni, chimichurri and salt. Add the juice of the two lemons and marinate for at least 12 hours, turning the meat occasionally during the marinade period.

After this period, melt the butter on the fire or in the microwave. Remove and add the barbecue sauce and honey. Stir well until it forms an even mixture, this will be the honey and butter sauce for the pork rump.

Place the meat on a baking sheet and put some of the sauce on it. Cover with aluminum foil and place in a preheated oven at 200°C for 1 hour.

After 1 hour, remove the meat from the oven, turn it into the tin and repeat the operation with the sauce. Cover again with the aluminum foil and return to the oven for another 1 hour.

Finally, remove the aluminum foil, change the pan and reserve the broth that has formed. Spend the rest of the sauce on the meat and return to the oven for another 30 minutes, without foil. Then turn off the oven, wait another 15 minutes and remove the rump from the oven, it will have a very appetizing crust.

TIP: the sauce that formed on the first baking sheet should be placed on the fire for reduction along with the rosemary. When a thick sauce forms, turn off the heat and serve with the meat.
